The City of Prince Albert has recently completed the 2024 Housing Needs Assessment to evaluate the community's current and future housing requirements. This assessment will guide the City in encouraging private investment, aligning housing development with economic growth, and shaping municipal policies.
Building on previous work from the City's Housing Plan (2012) and Housing Plan Action Strategy (2017), the assessment identifies key priorities and strategies to ensure that housing in our community remains affordable and accessible. Funding for these programs is outlined in our Housing Reserve Policy.
