It is your responsibility to ensure you keep safe offsets from overhead and buried utilities. You can get locates from us to find where your sanitary and water lines connect to the mains in the street or where they may cross your property.

If you require city locates or need to cut City infrastructure to complete work, you need to fill out the Contractor Utility Locate & Cut Request Form. Once the request has been approved, we can provide you any required field support and the information you need to complete the cuts, finish the work and restore the site.

If you have completed your site restoration, send us notice using the Contractor Utility Cut Restoration Update Form. The restoration must be completed within 24 hours and before the work zone is removed. Your restoration work is warrantied for a one year time period.

Contractors, Utility Companies and Business Owners are required to repair all Utility Cuts they perform to the City of Prince Albert's Master Specifications and Standard Detail Drawings as specified in the City Design and Construction Standards page.
