Prince Albert has a strong sports community offering opportunities in many activities. Many teams, clubs and organizations operate on a volunteer basis. Competition ranges from social to provincial to national to worldwide.
Archery |
The Timberland Bowbenders promotes archery to all ages. They host Provincial and National Championships. |
Badminton |
The Prince Albert & District Badminton Club provides junior training and recreational play for both adults and juniors. |
Baseball |
The Prince Albert Minor Baseball Association play their games at Andy Zwack Field, Mair Park, Crescent Acres Park and Normandy Park. In 2022 the Kinsmen Baseball Complex at Crescent Acres was created including the Fountain Tire Field, Lypchuk Field and Econo Lumber Field. |

Each spring the Prince Albert Ball Hockey League operates out of the Dave G. Steuart Arena. |
Basketball |
The Prince Albert Community Basketball Association provides instruction and teams from ages 5 and older. City facilities that have basketball courts include the Alfred Jenkins Field House. The new Canadian Tire Basketball Courts offer four lighted 3X3 courts. Crescent Acres Community Club also has outdoor basketball courts. |
Beach Volleyball |
The Prince Albert Beach Volleyball Association offers programming at the four Beach Volleyball Courts available at the Alfred Jenkins Field House. The courts also can be booked by contacting the Field House. |
BMX |
You can find a 20,000 square foot BMX track at the Kinsmen Skateboard & BMX Park. |
Boxing |
The Thomas Settee Boxing Club offers training and provides competition in the sport of boxing. |
Climbing Wall |
The Conexus Climbing Wall is located at the Alfred Jenkins Field House. |
Cross Country Skiing |
The Prince Albert Ski Club maintains the trails at Little Red River Park and organizes events throughout the season. During the season, they provide updates on trail conditions. |
Curling |
There are curling sheets located at the Prince Albert Golf & Curling Centre and East End Community Club. Contact either for league information. |
Cycling |
The RockNRoad Cycling Club is a Prince Albert and area cycling club for all ages and skills. We exist to promote and enjoy the sport of cycling in a fun group setting and to be rewarded with great friends , health, and a safe cycling environment. The club has a Facebook Page and check out the next Skills Park in Little Red River Park created in the Summer of 2021! |

The Cosmo Club Disc Golf Course is located in Mair Park. The Prince Albert Disc Golf Club organizes events there. |
Down Hill Skiing |
Prince Albert is the only city in the province that has a ski hill within city boundaries! Check out the Kinsmen Ski & Snowboard Centre at Little Red River Park. |
Fencing |
The Prince Albert Northern Knights Fencing Club provides instruction and competition in the sport. They have hosted the Northwestern Open tournament at the Alfred Jenkins Field House. |
Figure Skating |
The Prince Albert Figure Skating Club operates out of the Dave G. Steuart Arena and has their annual show at the Art Hauser Centre. |
Fitness Programs |
A full line of fitness programs are offered at the Alfred Jenkins Field House. The Margo Fournier Arts Centre also offers some fitness classes. |
Football |
Prince Albert Minor Football Association provides instruction and competition in football for children aged 8 and older. This includes River Riders teams in the Kinsmen League. High School Teams from Carlton and St.Mary High Schools compete in the Saskatoon League with home games at Max Clunie Field. |
Golf |
Cooke Municipal Golf Course is one of Saskatchewan's business Municipal golf courses, located in the heart of Prince Albert. |
Gymnastics |
The Prince Albert Aerials Gymnastics Club offers programming and instruction. They often host major competitions at the High Noon Optimist Club Building and the Alfred Jenkins Field House. |
Hockey |
PA Hockey operates Minor Hockey in the city. The Ernie Heit Memorial Hockey League is an adult recreational league. There are three artificial ice rinks in the City, the Art Hauser Centre, Kinsmen Arena and Dave. G. Steuart Arena. City owned and volunteer run community club ice rinks include West Hill, East Hill, East End and Crescent Heights. Many of the Community Clubs also offer outdoor ice sheets for hockey. The City boasts the 2019 Western Hockey League Champion Prince Albert Raiders , Male U18AAA Mintos and Female U18AAA Mann-Northway Northern Bears . |

Lacrosse |
The Prince Albert Lacrosse Association offers box lacrosse at the Kinsmen Arena. The Prince Albert Predators play in the Prairie Gold Lacrosse League. PALAX also introduced Field Lacrosse played at Max Clunie Field. |

A rapidly growing sport, Pickelball is organized by Pickleball PA . They play outdoors at the Midtown Community Club and Crescent Acres Community Club and indoors at the Alfred Jenkins Field House. |

Prince Albert Ringette offers programming and instruction for girls in age classes from Under 9 up to Age 18+. |
Rowing |
The Prince Albert Drifters Rowing Club invites rowers of all skill levels to join them. Their season runs from approximately May long weekend to mid-October annually. They are located at the Boat House. |

Public Skating is scheduled at Dave G. Steuart, Kinsmen Arena and Art Hauser Centre throughout the season. During the winter, outdoor rinks operated by Community Clubs also have skating available. |

The Prince Albert Ski League is an Alpine/Freestyle Ski club that operates at the Kinsmen Ski and Snowboard Centre out at Little Red River Park. They offer programming during the winter months. |

The Prince Albert Slo-Pitch League runs a 63 team league at the 7-diamond Car Guys Ball Park. |

Soccer |
Prince Albert Youth Soccer Association coordinates all indoor and outdoor youth and adult soccer in the city. They use the Alfred Jenkins Field House for indoor and pitches at Kinsmen Park, Prime Ministers' Park, Crescent Acres and various school grounds. In 2020, two new outdoor pitches will be available at the Alfred Jenkins Field House. |
Softball |
Prince Albert Minor Softball Association coordinates recreational and developmental youth softball. The Sportsman Men's League provides competition for men's teams. The City includes Max Power Ball Parks, Normandy Field, Kinsmen Park Diamonds and various school diamonds for softball. |
