Kidzfest
The 2024 date will be Thursday, July 18th from 1 – 5 pm
Join us for the 29th Annual KidzFest for an afternoon of family fun!
Activities include carnival games, balloon animals, crafts, face painting, stage entertainment (including circus and hoop shows) bouncy castles, and more! All activities are free to participate in. Food—including hotdogs, popcorn, veggies and drinks — are available at a reduced price.

Into the woods with Wildernook

On Thursday, August 1st, Prince Albert Playground leaders and Wildernook Fresh Air Learning team up to host an adventurous outdoor day camp for kids ages 8 - 12 years at Little Red River Park. This year's full day camp features tarp shelter building in the forest, an orienteering challenge, learning about local plants with elder, Liz Settee, and creating nature artwork and crafts. Rain or shine, campers will be active outdoors for 6 or more hours. Families, please check the weather forecast and ensure your child is dressed to be comfortable outdoors. Each child should bring a backpack with 1L water, a bagged lunch, 2x snacks, hat, layer clothing they can add or remove, sunscreen and bug spray (optional).
