The City of Prince Albert has properties for sale on a first-come first-served basis, which are sold as is.
Purchasing a lot
You must enter into an agreement to purchase a lot. This includes a 10% non-refundable deposit, plus land taxes, which is due after six months. You have one year to take out a building permit. We will transfer the title when you meet all conditions. Please see our Property Sales Brochure for complete details.
$1 Lots
You can purchase west flat lots for $1 plus a refundable $10,000 retainer fee. This is lost if you do not get a building permit within one year. We will transfer title when you meet all conditions. Please see our $1 Lots Brochure for more details.
Holding a lot
You can hold a lot during December 1 to March 31 by submitting a hold application with a $500 non-refundable holding fee.
Walkway, lane, land locked parcel or street
This type of land is too small to develop on its own. Requests to purchase or lease can be made from adjacent land owners. We review the request to ensure bylaw requirements or other legislation is met.
Leasing
The City of Prince Albert may lease lands to adjacent land owners for additional storage, parking and yard or garden space. No permanent structure or contamination is permitted.
