City Council has established a number of Boards and Committees to assist in the review of various matters affecting the community.
The Procedure Bylaw establishes the rules and provisions for the conduct of business in Council meetings and meetings of Council's committees.
Help shape your City
The City is looking for individuals interested in engaging on civic matters and providing input to help shape City policy and decisions on a broad range of issues. All appointments are served on a voluntary basis, with the exceptions to the Appeal Boards.

How are appointments made? |
All applications received will be compiled and forwarded to the Mayor for review and recommendation. The listing of recommended individuals is forwarded to City Council for final approval. |
What happens if I am appointed? |
You will receive formal notification of your appointment from the City Clerk's Office. This letter will indicate the term of your appointment and any other information you should know. You will also receive an orientation session from the City Clerk's Office prior to attending your first meeting. |
