Young people can be inspiring. Terry Fox was an incredible young Canadian and the City of Prince Albert recognizes a youth in our community that has similar characteristics with the presentation of the Terry Fox Award annually.
The Terry Fox Award, started the year after Terry's death in 1981, is awarded to an individual under 21 that has had an impact on the City in a significant way despite challenges in their personal life. This award is designed to honour a Prince Albert youth has demonstrated similar traits to Terry Fox.
