Walking or Biking with Transit
Walking or biking to get to your bus stop is a great way to get some movement into your daily commute. If you're nervous about walking or riding a bike a long distance, hop on the bus to finish your trip, start your trip or just to get you up that really steep hill.
Rider Rules
In order to make transit rides enjoyable for everyone please follow the rider rules.
- Be prepared.
- Have pass, ticket or exact change ready, pay what is owed.
- Be considerate.
- No Swearing.
- No loud Audio.
- Keep front seats for seniors and those less mobile, unless instructed otherwise by the driver.
- Make room for everyone, 1 person = 1 seat.
- Keep the aisles clear.
- No Eating or Drinking on bus.
- No smoking, or drinking alcoholic beverages.
- No wet or dirty shoes on seats.
- Pick up your garbage.
- Be safe.
- No jumping, running, throwing. Etc.
- No Roller blades or roller skates.
- Allow the Driver to do their Job.
- Do not stand in any position that may obstruct the drivers view.
- Do not engage the driver in conversation.
- Do not ride for the purpose of accompanying the driver.
- Stroller and Walker Access
- Strollers and Walkers must not interfere with standees or the movement of riders.
- Drivers will not assist with the loading and unloading strollers or walkers.
