With Halloween approaching, the City of Prince Albert would like to remind residents that participating in this years' ghostly festivities are completely voluntary. How to approach the trick-or-treat season can be a difficult decision with Saskatchewan still experiencing its highest levels of COVID-19 to date. Halloween falls on a Sunday this year and there is an expectation that more kids will be out and about collecting treats.
Similar to last year, the City of Prince Albert has created two posters that residents can download from the city website and print off to indicate if they will be participating in the trick-or-treat events this year.
"People's decision to participate should be respected. The Halloween posters are a simple way to let people know if you are participating in Halloween this year," said Jim Toye, City Manager. "The posters were tremendously popular last year, so we are making them available again this year."
The posters are available on the city website: www.citypa.ca/COVID-19 or you can download them here: Open for Halloween Poster and Closed for Halloween Poster
