Prince Albert, Sask. –
The Knotty Pine Bistro is the newest restaurant addition to Prince Albert. Situated in the beautiful Little Red River Park, the Bistro aims to serve premium coffees, tea’s, smoothies, fresh baking and delicious meals in an inviting and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant will open Monday, September 21, 2020 at 6:00am.
“Our goal is to provide a comfortable environment for the people of Prince Albert, visitors and outdoor enthusiasts to meet, socialize or simply relax,” says Barb Lychak, owner and chef of the new venture.
Previously operated as a drop-in concession, the new space is a reimagining of the Cosmopolitan Lodge. “There is a feeling that there is a lot of untapped potential at Little Red River Park,” said Tim Yeaman, Parks Manager for the City of Prince Albert. “In keeping with the vision of the Little Red River Park Master Plan, the Cosmo Lodge is one part of a larger strategy to renew the Park, increase attendance and make it more of a destination for residents and visitors,”
The Knotty Pine will be a licensed family restaurant focusing on locally sourced ingredients, weekly specials and consistent hours. Rentals will continue to be accepted out of the lodge for group bookings and a warm up area for kids has been designated at the entrance complete with plug-ins for phone chargers.
The Knotty Pine Bistro will be open Monday to Sunday, 6:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. For reservation information or to view the menu and check on daily specials, please visit their Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/knottypinebistro.
