Prince Albert, SK – Prince Albert is Registered for the 2024 ParticipACTION Community Challenge. The Challenge offers communities a chance to win $100,000 to go towards local sport and physical activity programming. The most active community in Canada for the month of June wins the grand prize. We think we can give this a good shot! – And that’s where you come in…

We’re calling on all residents and organizations of the community to help with this year’s challenge, June 1 – 30! The winner is determined by the number of participating individuals and organizations in the community.

So whether you plan to swim every day at the Kinsmen Water Park, or enjoy the odd evening stroll on the Rotary Trail, ANYONE can participate and get involved. Whether your sports association or a local business, ANY type of organization can contribute. And ANY form of physical activity counts and could make a difference for the community.

Getting involved is simple:

For individuals - you are signing up to take the pledge to be active for the community this June. To do this:

That’s it! NO TRACKING NECESSARY.

For organizations – you are registering any physical activities you have in the month and tracking the number of participants. To do this:

Register your June activities.
Track the number of participants in each activity, and input them in your account before the end of the month.

The more organizations and individuals commit to being active, the greater chance our community could win $100,000 to return to our local sports and physical activity programs!
