Prince Albert invites you to the 2022 Culture Days with our theme Connecting, Caring, Celebrating! More than 20 FREE events and opportunities are offered over the three-week national festival from September 23 to October 16.
Here are a few of the FREE opportunities planned:
- Tapestrama Cultural Festival – Sept.24 & 25, hosted by the Prince Albert Multicultural Council and held at Carlton Comprehensive High School. Tapestrama is a perfect example of our city's diversity, culture, and talent and includes some fantastic food booths.
- Downtown Sidewalk Sale & Culture Days – Sept.24, hosted by Prince Albert Downtown. Enjoy live entertainment, hide scraping demonstrations, and more!
- Community BBQ for National Day for Truth & Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day – Sept.30. Mann Art Gallery Art Tent will be onsite. The Prince Albert Urban Indigenous Coalition hosts it.
- Free admission to the Prince Albert Historical Museum on Sept.30, Oct.2, and Oct.9.
- Gateway Mall Urban Art Tour – Oct.1. Watch local artists at work!
- Beaded Poppy making – Oct.5&12 at the Prince Albert Arts Centre.
- Family Art Night – Oct.13 at the Mann Art Gallery.
- Story & Craft: Kohkum's Babushka – Oct.15 hosted by the Prince Albert Council for the Arts at the Prince Albert Arts Centre.

"We recognize the value of arts and culture now more than ever; for our enjoyment, mental health, and our connection to the community," said Judy MacLeod Campbell, Arts and Cultural Coordinator for the City. "There are so many great organizations and artists in our city that offer arts and culture opportunities all year long. Culture Days allows us to provide many of these free to try."
There will also be FREE public transit for Culture Days on Friday, September 23, and Saturday, September 24.

Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture. Culture Days has become the largest cultural event in Canada, attracting an estimated 2 million annual attendees to thousands of free activities and performances hosted by artists, cultural organizations, and municipalities in 355 communities across Canada.
Culture Days in Prince Albert are coordinated by a local committee and funded by SaskCulture, Saskatchewan Lotteries, the Municipal Cultural Action Plan (City of Prince Albert), and the organizations and their funders hosting Culture Days events as noted in the events listing.
