Monday is the last chance for Prince Albert residents to vote for Mayor, Ward Councillor and School Board Trustees. Polls are open from 9:00a.m. to 8:00pm.
A few reminders to voters on Election Day:
- You can only vote in the ward you live in. To find your polling location, search your location on the polling map or refer to the voter brochure that was delivered to every residence.
- Remember to bring identification
- You can pre-fill out your voter registration form to speed up the process. Be sure not to sign the form until you are in front of an Election Official
- Masks are required at the polls in accordance with the Government of Saskatchewan Public Health Order. Masks will be provided if required and a curbside voting option is available for those that are unable or unwilling to wear a mask.
- Mail-in ballots must be received at the Election Office before 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 9, in order to be counted. Drop off your completed ballot at City Hall (1084 Central Avenue) in the dropbox at the west entrance or at the Election Office on the second floor of City Hall during office hours, 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m.
- Transit is free all day to help voters get to the polls. The system will operate with normally scheduled routes and hours, opening at 6:15 a.m. on Monday and shutting down at 7:15p.m. Remember masks are mandatory (please bring your own).
- A number of measures are in place to ensure the health and safety of voters and election workers on Election Day and to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
