The city of Prince Albert wants to remind residents to refrain from entering the fenced construction site of the new Rotary Adventure Park Playground and Zip Lines at Little Red.
Over this past weekend, there were two incidents where several children entered the fenced area and had to be removed by the Community Policing Unit. For everyone's safety, please keep out of the fenced construction area. The construction site is unsafe for children or anyone else, and construction to finalize the project will begin shortly.
"Our Rotary Adventure Park Playground and Zip Lines at Little Red are still under construction. We understand the community's excitement for this project and that it can be challenging for little ones to wait to try the equipment, so we are doing all we can to complete this project as soon as possible," says Tim Yeaman, Parks and Open Space Manager for the City of Prince Albert.
Once construction is completed later in the summer, we are planning a Grand Opening event. We will invite everyone to come and play regardless of their age and celebrate this wonderful project. Thank you for your cooperation, patience and understanding as we build a fun-filled place for the community to gather.
