Due to the Canada Postal Workers' Strike, the City of Prince Albert would like to advise residents of the following disruptions and alternate arrangements.
Your Water Bill
- Water Bills will not be distributed during the strike.
- The next bills will be posted on December 9, 2024, due the first week of January.
- Water Account holders are responsible for ensuring payment is received on time to avoid late penalties.
- Water bills can still be received by signing up for e-billing or by coming into City Hall to pick up your bill.
- Account balances can be received by contacting (306) 953-4884.
- To avoid late penalties, it is highly recommended that account holders sign up for the Monthly Installment Payment Plan to arrange for monthly, automatic equalized payments.
Outgoing Mail from the City of Prince Albert
- Cheque Payments for vendors not on Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT) will be contacted to arrange to pick up payments or apply for EFT.
- The City will still send legislated and legal correspondence via courier or hand-delivered.
- Non-priority mail will be postponed until regular mail service resumes.
