Residents in Prince Albert have raised concerns regarding emails they have received from communication@xplorrecreation.com. The emails in question are associated with the Xplor Recreation website (hosted by PerfectMind.com), and residents have shared screen captures of the email address setup within the application.
It is important to note that communication@xplorrecreation.com is not spam. The email address was officially communicated to the public by Community Services during the launch of the PerfectMind.com site in a media release dated August 17, 2023.
The City's recreational booking website, Xplor Recreation (hosted by PerfectMind.com), officially launched on August 23, 2023.
Users will recieve these emails at least once a year with the subject line: [MARKETING] City of Prince Albert needs your consent -- Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation. To confirm your consent to receive electronic communication from City of Prince Albert, follow the instructions as set out in the email.
The use of this email address follows the Canada Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), demonstrating that Xplor Recreation values the privacy and concerns of its residents and assures them that the use of communication@xplorrecreation.com aligns with the legal framework set forth by CASL.
