Prince Albert, SK – The City of Prince Albert is transitioning to a new website for residents to register for all recreational activities like swimming lessons, art, and fitness classes.
The new website, Xplor Recreation (hosted by PerfectMind.com), will officially be launched on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
“We are excited to launch our new Xplor Recreation website! We ask that the public be patient with us as we go live and begin opening registration dates in September,” says Lauren Haubrich, Recreation Coordinator. “We are joining other Saskatchewan municipalities who use this website, so some users may find it familiar. Xplor Recreation will provide a user-friendly online interface that allows users to register for activities and manage individual and/or family accounts.”
Users of the City’s recreation facilities can view upcoming programming and are encouraged to create a new account now. Old accounts from the previous website will not be migrated to the new site, and users are encouraged to save any receipts or information from the ACTIVE Net site they might need for future use.
Visit www.citypa.ca/register to get started and create your new account. All email correspondence will be from communication@xplorrecreation.com. Adding this email to your address book will be good practice to prevent emails from going to your junk folder.
The new website has a new feel and look. Benefits of the new website to online users include:
- Simplified sign-on: No more Client ID or Family PIN numbers to remember.
- Easy to search: Search for programs by facility, days of the week, age group or activity.
- Mobile friendly: Register for programs on your smartphone.
- Calendar reminders: Add registered classes to your electronic calendar.
Fall recreation registration dates have been moved into September to accommodate the new website. Watch for details on the City’s social media pages. Visit www.citypa.ca/register to get started and create your new account.
