Residents in Prince Albert have raised concerns regarding emails they have received from communication@xplorrecreation.com. The emails in question are associated with the Xplor Recreation website (hosted by PerfectMind.com), and residents have shared screen captures of the email address setup within the application.
It is important to note that communication@xplorrecreation.com is not spam. The email address was officially communicated to the public by Community Services during the launch of the PerfectMind.com site in a media release dated August 17, 2023.
The City of Prince Albert moved to a new website for residents to register for all recreational activities like swimming lessons, art, and fitness classes earlier this year. The new website, Xplor Recreation (hosted by PerfectMind.com), officially launched on August 23, 2023.
The use of this email address follows the Canada Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), demonstrating that Xplor Recreation values the privacy and concerns of its residents and assures them that the use of communication@xplorrecreation.com aligns with the legal framework set forth by CASL.
