Public Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Prince Albert intends to consider Bylaw No. 24 of 2024 to amend The City of Prince Albert Zoning Bylaw No. 1 of 2019, and Bylaw No. 25 of 2024 to amend The City of Prince Albert Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 21 of 2015.
Reason for the Amendment: At the City Council meeting held July 22, 2024, first reading of Bylaw No. 23 of 2024 and Bylaw No. 25 of 2024 were given and Administration was authorized to provide Public Notification for a Public Hearing. Bylaw No. 24 of 2024 proposes to rezone the land legally described as Lot 1, Block 13, Plan Cl2892 Ext. 0 from CMU – Commercial Mixed Use to R2 – Small Lot Residential. To support the rezoning of the subject property, Bylaw No. 25 of 2024 proposes to amend the Official Community Plan to change the land use designation from Neighbourhood Mixed Use to Country Residential. The subject property is shown in the dashed line below:
Therefore, City Council, at its meeting to be held on August 19, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., will consider all submissions both written and verbal respecting the Public Hearing for the above bylaws. If you would like your written submission reviewed by City Council PRIOR to the meeting, it would be preferable if it were provided by 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. In accordance with City Council’s Procedure Bylaw No. 23 of 2021, any written submissions must be provided to the City Clerk. Verbal submissions shall be heard during the Public Hearing portion of the meeting.
