Pursuant to Section 187 of The Cities Act, notice is hereby given that the assessment notices for the City of Prince Albert for the year 2024 are being mailed on February 1, 2024 by regular mail.
Notice is also hereby given that Bylaw No. 4 of 2003 provides that City Council dispense with the preparation of assessment notices and notice may not be given if the assessed value of a property:
a) has not changed from the previous year’s assessed
value; or
b) the increase or decrease in assessed value does not
exceed the lesser of:
i. $1,000 from the previous year’s assessed value; and
ii. 1% of the previous year’s assessed value.
The assessment roll is open to inspection at the office of the Assessor, located at City Hall (1084 Central Avenue) from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the following days:
Monday to Friday, February 1, 2024 to March 1, 2024.
Any person who wishes to appeal against their property valuation, classification, tax status, the content of the notice or, the preparation of the assessment roll is required to file a notice of appeal with the Board of Revision to the address below, by:
4:30 p.m. on the 1st day of March, 2024
