The City of Prince Albert will be hosting a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Day on Saturday, September 14 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Municipal Service Centre (11, 38th St E, Prince Albert). The Sanitation Division hosts this day annually to ensure residents have an opportunity to dispose of their Household Hazardous Waste safely.
Household hazardous waste includes many items that people are storing in their basements, garages, kitchens, or bathrooms and are no longer needed. Hazardous items are often toxic or flammable, so extra care should be taken when disposing of them.
The public is encouraged to take advantage of the hazardous waste collection day by coming out and safely disposing of these unwanted or unusable items.
