Cloverdale Fire State of Emergency Over

The City can confirm that the State of Emergency declared in response to the threat of the Cloverdale Fire expired on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 and has not be renewed. As of today, Thursday June 3, 2021 the Cloverdale fire remains contained and is approximately 5470Ha.

The results of numerous infrared scans has identified hot spots throughout the fire area and Saskatchewan Public Service Agency crews are working to extinguish them. The hot dry conditions will assist in making the hot spots easier to find but the public should be aware that they may still see smoke in the area of the fire and that crews are patrolling and are prepared to respond to any flare-ups.
