Alex Paul Appointed as New Deputy Fire Chief for the City of Prince Albert

Prince Albert, Sask. – Fire Chief Kris Olsen would like to congratulate Alex Paul on his appointment as Deputy Fire Chief for the City of Prince Albert effective November 10, 2019.

Mr. Paul has been a member of the Prince Albert Fire Department for 24 years and Acting Deputy Chief since 2018. Starting as an Alarm Room Operator in November 1995, Deputy Chief Paul moved from a Fire Fighter position in 1996 to Captain in January 2010 and to Battalion Chief in 2014.

“Deputy Chief Paul brings 24 years of dedicated service to this position,” said Fire Chief Kris Olsen. “Alex has a vast knowledge of the department’s systems and processes and has proven himself a dedicated and effective member of our team.”

“I am honoured, and wish to thank the City of Prince Albert for giving me the opportunity to step into the Deputy Fire Chief role. We have a great staff at the Prince Albert Fire Department, and I look forward to working with each of them in my new position.”
