Welcome to March and the first edition of P.A. Pulse!
The City of Prince Albert’s Community Services Department is excited to launch P.A. Pulse. This monthly publication, delivered by email on the 1st day of each month, is an all-in-one-place to learn about City events and activities that residents can participate in during the month.
The inspiration for the name of this publication, P.A. Pulse, is the idea that people are the heart of the community and their day-to-day living, doing and actively participating, is its pulse. By staying on the pulse of their community, residents can discover new activities, make new friends, create new experiences, and deepen their connection to their city.
Our intention for P.A. Pulse is for it to be a valuable resource that will allow residents to stay informed and connected by making it easy to stay on top of the latest happenings in Prince Albert. From arts and culture to sports and fitness, this publication will contain links that will take users directly to information, registration pages and ticket purchases.

Jörgen’s choreography balances the fairy tale elements of the story with a contemporary treatment of Cinderella and her family relationships. Jörgen builds a more realistic and human look at Cinderella and her circumstances, and then uses these scenes to both counterpoint and highlight the magical aspects of the story

Prisoner of Tehran, based on the book of the same name, is a unique collaboration between Iranian born writer/speaker Marina Nemat and MOTUS O. After the Islamic Revolution of 1979, Marina was arrested at the age of sixteen and spent more than two years in Evin, a political prison in Tehran, where she was tortured and came very close to execution. She came to Canada in 1991 and has called it home ever since. This is her story. Following the production there will also be a question-and-answer session.

Did You Know Time Travel is Possible?
What did a lb of butter cost in 1939? What was playing at the Orpheum Theatre in March of '51? What was the score when the Mintos beat Saskatoon in February of '29?
The Prince Albert Daily Herald, in partnership with the Prince Albert Public Library and the Prince Albert Historical Society, have created a digital archive of the paper from 1910 to 1955. Each file contains one scanned reel of microfilm.
Have fun diving into the time portal!
