Bridge, overpass, and viaduct cleaning starts April 29, 2024

The City would like motorists to be aware of upcoming lane closures next week. Contractors will start pressure washing the bridges, overpasses, viaducts and retaining walls in the coming weeks to remove the winter's salt and grime from the concrete surfaces. Motorists are also reminded to keep a safe distance from the cleaning operations, as visibility will be reduced by dust and flying debris

Cleaning will start April 29^th until May 7^th, 2024. The following areas will be affected :

Diefenbaker Bridge: North and Southbound walkways and lanes, Riverside Drive Overpass

• Central Avenue Viaduct
• 6^th Avenue East Viaduct
• CN Bridge and Shellbrook Overpass
• 2^nd Avenue West
