The City of Prince Albert would like to make it as easy as possible for voters to cast their vote in the upcoming Municipal and In-City School Boards Election. If you are a voter with a disability or limited mobility, the following options are available:
1. Bring a friend or request assistance from an Election Official at a Regular Poll
If you require assistance, a friend or family member can accompany you to the poll. There are also Election Officials assigned to each poll who are available to assist as needed. All polling locations are wheelchair accessible.
2. Use the AutoMARK Voter Assist Terminal at Advance Polls
The AutoMARK terminal assists voters who are visually impaired or have a physical impairment to independently mark their ballot without requiring assistance from another individual. For more information, visit the website at https://www.citypa.ca/en/voters.aspx#AutoMARK-Voter-Assist-Terminal
3. Homebound Voting (Mobile Poll)
Voters with disabilities or limited mobility can apply to vote from their home. Applications will need to be completed by the voter and, if applicable, the voter’s caregiver before October 29, 2024.
4. Transportation
Access Transit or Seniors’ Transportation will be available free of charge on Election Day to seniors and residents with special needs. Book your ride with the Prince Albert and District Community Service Centre by calling dispatch at:
- Access Transit – 306-953-4466
