The City of Prince Albert has released its 2024 Drinking Water Quality and Compliance Report, providing residents with a summary of the City's water quality performance and compliance with regulatory sampling requirements from January 1 to December 31, 2024.
As required by the Water Security Agency and Ministry of Environment, waterworks owners must notify consumers at least once each year about the quality of water produced and supplied. The report also provides details on the City’s performance in submitting water samples as outlined in the Minister’s Order or the Permit to Operate a Waterworks.
This year’s report, completed on February 19, 2025, confirms that the City continues to meet or exceed provincial water quality standards. Regular testing and monitoring are in place to ensure the safety and reliability of Prince Albert’s drinking water.
Residents interested in reviewing the full Annual Notice to Consumer report can access it on the City’s website or by contacting the Water Treatment Plant directly.
For more information on water sample submission requirements, refer to the Saskatchewan Water Security Agency’s Municipal Drinking Water Quality Monitoring Guidelines, EPB 502 (June 2015).
