The City of Prince Albert would like to advise Rotary Trail users that starting Monday, October 26, a 700-foot section of the trail along the Riverbank will be closed for approximately 5 days. Work is expected to be complete by 5 p.m. on October 30th.
The closure is to accommodate the installation of 82 railings to replace those that were destroyed on April 26, 2020, during the ice break-up on the North Saskatchewan River.
“Due to the safety precautions and considerations the contractor is responsible for during the installation process, we will require this section of trail to be closed to the public until the railings are up again,” says Tim Yeaman, Parks Manager for the City of Prince Albert.
