Public Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Prince Albert intends to consider Bylaw No. 31 of 2024 to amend Bylaw No. 1 of 2019, known as the City of Prince Albert Zoning Bylaw.
Reason for the Amendment: At the Special City Council meeting, to be held on Monday, October 15th, 2024, City Council intends to give all three (3) readings to Bylaw No. 31 of 2024. This bylaw amendment proposes to increase the maximum building height for Hotels in the C4 – Highway Commercial Zoning District to allow for up to 6 storeys in height.
Therefore, City Council, at its meeting to be held on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., will consider all submissions both written and verbal respecting the Public Hearing for the above bylaw. If you would like your written submission reviewed by City Council PRIOR to the meeting, it would be preferable if it were provided by 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024. In accordance with City Council’s Procedure Bylaw No. 23 of 2021, any written submissions must be provided to the City Clerk. Verbal submissions shall be heard during the Public Hearing portion of the meeting.
