Election Day is Monday, November 9, 2020. With Advance Polls over, the City of Prince Albert would like residents to be aware that there will be free Transit all day on Election Day to help voters get to the polls. Polls are open 9:00a.m. to 8:00pm. The Transit system will operate with normally scheduled routes and hours, opening at 6:15 a.m. on Monday and shutting down at 7:15p.m.
Residents are reminded that masks are mandatory on the transit system and at the polling locations.
For those that are new to the system, please take note of the Transit Safety Precautions that have been implemented in response to Covid-19:
- Plexiglas has been installed to protect drivers;
- High touch surfaces are being cleaned after each round;
- Masks are mandatory starting August 31, 2020 (riders must bring their own masks)
- Drivers have the authority to refuse riders if the bus is too full or if a rider refuses to wear a mask.
