There have been a number of changes to the COVID-19 protocols as regulated by the Province affecting many of our city facilities. Please check your facilities webpage regularly for the latest information.
The City is providing as much safe access to facilities as is allowed for people to continue to get out where they feel safe and participate in activities.
Please note that all memberships for City of Prince Albert facilities that were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March have been reinstated! Log into your ActiveNet account to view your membership details. Call AJFH, MFC, or FJD for questions! To purchase a new pass click here.

The City of Prince Albert continues to follow the Saskatchewan Re-Open Plan for our facilities. As always, we want to remind you to follow all safety precautions as we continue to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

There are Parent and Tots as well as Adult and Senior Skating Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Steuart Arena.
2 public skating sessions are scheduled for December 20 and 27 with a limited number of spots in each session.
Pre-register for public skating session this month. Note that due to Covid-19 Regulations walk-up and drop-ins are not allowed . Everyone must pre-register online or call 306-953-4848.
Every Monday, new free & public skating sessions will be available for booking.
The Alfred Jenkins Field House is open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekends.
The December Drop-In schedule offers some great classes you can come to at the times that are convenient for you.
As always the AJFH instructors are offering great Programs with many starting in the New Year.
Gift Cards are available in any denomination that can be used towards programs or your monthly pass at the AJFH.

Visit the gallery and gift shop Tuesday to Friday between 10 to 5 and Saturdays from 12 to 5.
We are winding down our Fall programs and planning the Winter season. There is no doubt that the COVID pandemic has affected our lives, including our recreation and leisure. Many have turned to the arts for a creative and calming outlet. We are taking all safety precautions (smaller class sizes, mandatory masks, social distancing, disinfecting, and more) and welcome you here when you are ready. Please watch for our Winter Program Guide (January to March) towards the end of this month.

Until December 18th, the Historical Museum will be open weekday afternoons from 1-4 pm. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday there will be a storyteller for socially distant Christmas stories. Groups must book their visit in advance by calling the museum or emailing museumeducator@historypa.com. Masks are required.
- Wreath-making kits: Pick up a wreath-making kit at the museum. Share the image of the completed wreath on social media (#PAHSHolidayWreath) or email a picture.
- My memorable Christmas: Children and adults can submit their stories about a memorable Christmas/holiday either in person or by email and these will be bound into a book to be kept in the archives.
- Historic Holiday Baking: We will be sharing on social media and the website two cooking videos and recipes for Christmas cookies from a 1942 cookbook that’s part of the collection

Easy Adult Fitness is now is two sessions each Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning. You have to pre-register for each session.
The 2021 MFC Program Guide is now available to plan your New Year.
It is the 30th season for downhill skiing in Little Red River Park.
The KSSC is open Monday to Friday 1 to 9 p.m. and weekends 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There are restrictions listed in the KSSC section of the Little Red River Park page.
The newly renovated John M. Cuelenaere branch of the Prince Albert Public Library is now open for regular Fall/Winter hours. Bernice Sayese Centre and Saskatchewan Polytechnic locations will reopen at a later date.
The library is coordinating its pandemic response with other city facilities. Some services are affected:
1) Public computers will not be available.
2) Photocopying services will not be available.
3) Public Seating will be kept to a minimum.
4) Building occupancy will be limited to 50 members of the public.
5) Members of the public entering the building will have their temperature taken.
6) Public washrooms will not be available.
7) Meeting rooms and the theatre will be made available later.
8) Library programs will commence later.
9) Members of the public are required to wear a mask inside the library. Enforcement is permitted under the Public Health Act.
10) Members of the public are encouraged to keep their visits as short as possible.
Pick up your fun Christmas craft kit at our main branch and make it at home! No charge! Kits available now and are first come, first serve. Curbside pick up is available.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions of space and food, we felt that we could not realistically display our show in the safe and fun manner in which our patrons have come to expect. Therefore, we are sharing an online edition of our fall show. This show will be on display on our website below. As usual, this event will be used as a fundraiser for the Optimist Group of Prince Albert.
Creative Kids is a charitable program that funds Saskatchewan children who want to take music or dance lessons, learn to paint or act, speak a family language, explore different cultures, find out about their heritage, study dinosaur bones, or join a number of other creative pursuits in their community. Creative Kids funds arts, heritage, multicultural and Aboriginal activities for families facing financial barriers. For more information about Creative Kids in our district, visit website below.
