Donna Langhorne: Common Truths
Until January 23, 2023
"Common Truths continues my work of examining how challenges facing Indigenous people today can be identified and addressed artistically with reference to traditional teachings and concepts. Since 2015 I have been specializing in the use of the Woodlands style innovated by renowned Anishinaabe painter Norval Morrisseau. As a member of Fishing Lake First Nation in Saskatchewan [Plains Ojibway], my ancestral roots are Anishinaabe.” - Donna Langhorne

Ways of Living, Ways of Painting: La Ronge and La Loche
Myles Hector Charles and Mary Joyce
Curated by Marcus Miller
Until January 14, 2023
This exhibition brings together two very different artists, both painting life in northern communities in Saskatchewan. In 1990, Mary Joyce (Edmonton) had the opportunity to live in La Loche for a year where she met people, made friends and painted scenes of work, play and social gatherings. Elder Myles Charles was born in Fox Point on Lac la Ronge, and is a member of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band # 353. Myles attended both the La Ronge and Prince Albert Indian Residential Schools.
Cory Chad - Emanating
Curated by Jesse Campbell
Until January 14, 2023
Embracing exploration in an open-ended process of application, erasure, and response is the foundation of Cory Chad’s work. This exhibition of her recent paintings, drawings, and ceramics does not seek to define subjects or content with precision; rather, these works suggest ideas of change, the passage of time, and life around objects in domestic spaces. What emanates in clay, canvas, and paper on any given day comes from the events – whether mundane or major – of an hour, a week, a year, a lifetime, as they accumulate and unconsciously are recorded in their creation.
