Prince Albert, Sk. – The City of Prince Albert’s Kinsmen Ski and Snowboard Centre (KSSC), located in Little Red River Park is set to open as scheduled on Tuesday, December 1st at 4:00 PM. The November snow fall complemented by snow making efforts have the hill in great shape to begin it’s 30th year of operation.
In conjunction with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, there are a number of restrictions at the KSSC regarding COVID protocols including:
- Masks are mandatory
- Social distancing of a minimum of 3 metres at all times
- Maximum hill capacity set at 150 (As per SHA update November 30, 2020)
- Limit of 10 people (including operators) in the ski cabin at one time
- Ski Leagues can train athletes under 18 in groups of 8 at one time. These training pods must be coordinated with the KSSC
- No water bottle fill stations-bring your own water

The Kinsmen Ski and Snowboard Centre is the only such facility located within municipal city limits in the province and the only one that offers night skiing, until 9:00 PM on weekdays and 5:00 PM on weekends.

Lift Tickets are $12 per day for Monday through Friday and $16 per day for Saturday and Sunday.
