Lake Country Co-Op Leisure Centre
The Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre is the largest recreational infrastructure project in Prince Albert’s history. It will provide a new home for aquatics and arena programming for residents and visitors alike.
Construction of the $113 million facility began in July 2022 and was completed in February 2025. The project was made possible through funding support from the Canada Infrastructure Program, including a $24 million contribution from the Government of Canada and a $19.9 million investment from the Province of Saskatchewan. The City of Prince Albert funded the remainder of the project.
The facility officially opened to the public on Friday, September 5, 2025, marking a historic milestone for the community.
