The Frank J. Dunn pool offers a full range of swimming lessons for children, youth and adults; lane swimming; public swimming and aquasize classes. The indoor pool is closes each summer while the Kinsmen Water Park is open.
The Frank J Dunn swimming pool is located at Carlton Comprehensive High School, owned by the Sask Rivers Public School Division and is jointly operated by the City of Prince Albert and the Saskatchewan Rivers School Division #119.
The New Aquatic and Arenas Recreation Centre will be opening in 2025! Lifeguard recruitment is now underway.

Adult Supervision Policy |
All children under the age of 8 must wear a red wristband and stay within arms reach of an adult in the water at all times. One adult can supervise a maximum of three children.
Children aged 8-10 must wear a green wristband and can swim on their own but must have an adult at the facility with them. |
Lifejackets/PFDs |
Lifejackets are provided during all of our programming at FJD. Ask a lifeguard for assistance! Swimmers may bring their own lifejackets/PFD's from home. Children over the age of 8 who are wearing a lifejacket/PFD must stay within arms reach of an adult over the age of 18. |
