*A family is defined as 6 people related by birth, legal status or marriage with a minimum of 1 adult and maximum of 2 adults. Additional family members must pay the regular admission.

*Groups must have a minimum of 10 people and contact the facility to book in advance.

Day Pass - Allows unlimited access to the track, fitness centre, drop-in fitness classes and the ladies-only

fitness area.

Toddler turf time is a great chance for you and your little ones (ages 0 – 5) to come and play with our toys and run around on the turf. Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on a drop-in basis. There is a fee of $3.25/toddler and parents are no charge.

You can register for the senior walking program if you are 60+. You will be able to walk on the track Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cost is $17.25/month.

We offer competitive and recreational, co-ed, self-refereed volleyball leagues for anyone 18 years and older. Teams play once per week for 12 weeks.

Following a 7,000 square foot addition this summer, Alfred's playground is NOW OPEN!! Funding for the playground was generously provided by the Malcolm J Jenkin's Family Foundation and the Provincial Municipal Economic Enhancement Program. It officially opened to the public August 31, 2020.

Alfred's Playground is the only universally accessible playground of it's type in Saskatchewan. Located North West of the Field House Building the 10,000 foot facility, which is FREE to access and has lights, was funded by Canadian Tire Jumpstart and the Malcolm J. Jenkins Family Foundation. The Jumpstart Playground Guide provides detailed information about the many play features for children of all abilities.This playground is one of the largest in Canada at 17,000 square feet. 

We have four courts for rent. Please call the front desk for available rental times.

Starting March 26th, the Climbing Wall will be temporarily closed for regular maintenance until mid-April. Check back here for updates. 

The regular schedule for the climbing wall is Wednesdays and Thursdays, 6:00pm to 9:00pm for 30-minute timeslots (maximum of two people per slot).

The Broda Family Fitness Centre is located on the second floor of the Alfred Jenkins Field House. It is equipped with treadmills, elliptical trainers, stationary bikes, a recumbent bicycle as well as weight strengthening equipment and free weights.

The Northern Lights Development Corporation Gymnasium has a variety of equipment for you to use. We have volleyballs, basketballs, pickleball, floor hockey and badminton nets.

Drop-in pickleball is available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Open gym times are Monday to Friday 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. These times may change if we have bookings or tournaments. Please see our rates and fees for more information.

Rent an indoor batting cage in the Northern Lights Community Development Gymnasium!

Courtesy of Malcolm Jenkins, this cage is perfect for baseball, slo-pitch, softball or cricket teams looking for some practice!

Cost (including gym) is $58.25/hour for youth groups and $102.75/hour for adult groups. 

Bring your own pitching machine and balls.

The B & B Walking Track is located on the 3rd floor. It's rubberized surface is great for walking or jogging.

You can rent ½ the turf or full turf. Please call the front desk for available times. Indoor turf is home to the Prince Albert Youth Soccer Association.

If you need a space for a meeting, birthday party, wedding or baby shower we have a space for you. The Malhotra room can accommodate up to 40 people, and we supply the tables and chairs.

In November 2021, the Outdoor Gym was completed on the south side of the Alfred Jenkins Field House. The gym is a 7,000 square foot facility, designed for use by ages 13+. It includes both traditional body-weight workout equipment, and advanced elements similar to ones featured on reality television shows like "Ninja Warriors". The gym features a rubber safety sport surface, and shade structures to protect users from the sun. It is illuminated for use in the evenings and outfitted with security cameras for safety. There is no charge to use the gym.

The traditional "HealthBeat" elements in the circuit includes: ab crunch/leg lift machine, assisted rowing/push-up station, balance steps, cardio stepper, chest and back press, eliptical machine, pull up/dip bar, squat press and a chin-up bar which can also accommodate auxiliary fitness equipment.

The advanced "FitCore Extreme" elements in the Outdoor Gym are: Ledge Hanger, Spiderwalk, Quintuple Steps, Jump Hang, Globe Grasp, High Step, Rope Climb and Over Under Bars. Including all of he elements in a circuit format, this gym is the only one of its kind in Canada.

The Outdoor Basketball Courts are located on the west end of the property. There are 4 3X3 courts with lighting provided. These courts are all on a drop-in (FREE) basis. Courts can be rented to guarantee use. Call the 306-953-4989 for information.

Opening in the Spring of 2021, 2 Regulation Soccer Pitches are located immediately West of the Alfred Jenkins Field House. They were funded in part by the Prince Albert Youth Soccer Association.

Your child can enjoy 2 hours of playtime in the gymnasium or indoor turf with a variety of equipment. You will also have access to one of our multi-purpose rooms to eat cake and open gifts during that 2 hrs. Cost for the gymnasium party is $109.25, and $160.00 for the turf party.
