If you are interested in running in the upcoming election for Mayor, City Councillor, or In-City Public or Separate School Board Trustee you only have a few more days left to submit your nomination papers.
Nominations opened September 21 and will close this Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 4pm.
Civic Elections are held in order to elect a mayor and 8 councillors, one for each of the city’s 8 wards. In addition to the Municipal election, the City of Prince Albert also conducts elections for both the Prince Albert Public School Board (5 positions) and Catholic School Board (6 positions) in order to elect their respective in-City school trustees.

In accordance with legislation, the civic election is scheduled for November 9, 2020. The Election Office is adapting its plans to ensure public safety measures are in place for the election and will respond accordingly to any COVID-19 directives issued by the Province.
