Event Description

Launching a business? Chances are you’ve got many of the basics covered. You know what you’re selling, you may even know who you’re selling to. You’ve most likely got your logo down, and even have your webpage and social media handles set up. And perhaps, if you’re ahead of the game, you’ve got your business plan drafted. But what about your numbers? Your forecast, your pricing strategy, cost of goods, your break-even? Not nailing them down at the beginning will impact whether your business flies or flops. This Bootcamp is hands-on and provides you with the opportunity to create your own list of thoughtfully-projected and defendable startup expenses using the templates provided. In addition to start up costs, this Bootcamp also helps you to: Determine Asset vs. Operating Expenses and why it matters Owner's Contribution: Tracking and recording owner paid expenses Working Capital Requirements: How to determine the capital required, and how to incorporate them into startup costs. For more information or to register, please contact Community Futures PA & District at 306-763-8125 or email info@pacf.ca. Cost is $20.00 per person. Payment must be received at the PACF Office to hold your spot. (Cash or Cheque Only) Sponsored by Community Futures Saskatchewan's Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program (EDP)

Event Posting Criteria

In addition to allowing residents and visitors the ability to find out what's happening in Prince Albert, this calendar is intended as a planning tool for event planners in the community. It is highly encouraged that event planners submit events as soon as dates are scheduled.

NOTES FOR EVENT ORGANIZERS:

  • The calendar will be updated ONLY as events are submitted by organizers. Do not assume your event will posted because it is annual or well-known.
  • A submission form should be completed for each of the events you would like posted.
  • The City of Prince Albert will promote the purpose and intent of the calendar to ensure it is widely used and so that its intent is understood.
  • Events should be submitted as soon as scheduled; at least a month in advance is preferable. Events will be accepted a year or more in advance if they are scheduled.
  • Events should be posted on the business/organization’s website and/social media pages to ensure consistent coverage.

WHAT CAN BE SUBMITTED

  • All events must be open to the general public.
  • With the exception of conferences and conventions in the business category, events held for single interest groups are not permitted.
  • Events that promote any religious organization; multi-faith or inter-faith events will be considered on an individual basis.

Events permitted on the calendar should fall into one of the following five categories:

  1. Annual/Special Events (Blue)
  2. Sport Tournaments and Events (Purple)
  3. Arts/Culture (Orange)
  4. Business Events (Gold)
  5. City Meetings and Initiatives (Green)

For more details on the categories, please see the Full Calendar of Events Posting Criteria

WHAT CANNOT BE SUBMITTED

If you have an event that does not meet the criteria, please consider submitting it to the PaNow Community Calendar or Prince Albert District Chamber of Commerce Calendar.
