The Art Hauser Centre is the main arena in Prince Albert and is operated by the City of Prince Albert. Located in the south east area of the City, the arena was constructed in 1971 and was, formerly known as the Comuniplex. The Art Hauser Centre is home to the Prince Albert Raiders, Midget AAA Mintos and Midget AAA Northern Bears hockey teams, Figure & Speed Skating clubs and Minor Hockey.
On the second level of the Art Hauser Centre is the Ches Leach Lounge banquet hall and small Kinsmen meeting room along with the Prince Albert Sports Hall of Fame.
The facility is an impressive sport, culture and recreation facility and is in close proximity to Prime Ministers' Park and the Kinsmen Skateboard and BMX Park.
A variety of non-ice events are held in the arena which have included, Pro Bull Riding, R U Tuff Enuff, Graduations, Concerts, Pow Wow. The Art Hauser Centre has many amenities to host large events in Prince Albert.
A spectacular venue located on the 2nd level of the Art Hauser Center is ideal for wedding, banquets, conferences and meetings. Over 5200 square feet of space is suitable to host a large event for up to a maximum of 451 guests with many amenities available for hosting an event.
The Art Hauser Centre has set aside designated times for the general public to walk and/or jog on the upper deck at the ice arena.
While walking and/or jogging on the upper deck at the Art Hauser Centre participants are asked to abide by a few rules that are attached to the schedules.
The Prince Albert Sports Hall of Fame is located on the 2 level of the Art Hauser Centre, adjacent to the Ches Leach Lounge. The Prince Albert Hall of Fame features picture and memorabilia displays, along with an IPad for local history.
