OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT
Note: It is suggested that one (1) week advance notice be provided prior to opening an account with the City.
Renters must apply for a utility account in person at City Hall. Two pieces of identification are required (for example, a driver's license and a Saskatchewan health card). Renters are required to pay a $150.00 refundable deposit and a $15.00 non-refundable service fee to open a new account.
If you are a renter and you are relocating to a new address in Prince Albert, any overdue balances must be paid before services can be set up at your new address. The $150.00 refundable deposit for your previous address will be applied to the final bill for that property and if a credit remains on your account, a refund cheque will be sent to you.
Homeowners may make application either in person or over the phone. The cost is a $15.00 non-refundable service fee.
