Midtown Community Club is located in the heart of Prince Albert at the corner of 6th Avenue East and 9th Street East. This community club boasts many leisure facilities.

Multi-Purpose HallMulti-Purpose Hall

The Midtown Hall is available to rent for special occasions, community functions or meetings and is equipped with a kitchen and bar and has a maximum occupancy of 300 patrons. To book the hall, please contact Kelly at 306.764.6166 (leave a message).

Outdoor Rink - For ages 13 and overOutdoor Rink - For ages 13 and over

Midtown's first of two lit outdoor rinks is regulation-sized and designated for youth 13 and over as well as adults. Members can use the rink free of charge. The rink is available on weekdays from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on weekends from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A warm-up / change room is available for use.

Outdoor Mini Rink - For ages 12 and UnderOutdoor Mini Rink - For ages 12 and Under

Midtown's second lit outdoor rink is designated for youth 12 and under. Members can use the rink free of charge and non-members will be charged a $2.00 fee. The rink is available during the same times as the 13 and Over rink.

 

Outdoor Pleasure Skating RinkOutdoor Pleasure Skating Rink

Members can use this rink at no charge; non-members will be charged a $2.00 fee. No hockey sticks are allowed on the pleasure rink. The rink is available from the first week in December until the first week of March, weather permitting. Skate times are 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

 

Tennis CourtsTennis Courts

Three fenced and lit tennis courts are available for use by community members at the Midtown Community Club. To purchase your Community Club Membership, call Greg at 306.940.7739 after 5:00 p.m. or send an email to gcbell@sasktel.net.

 

Basketball StandardsBasketball Standards

Midtown Community Club also has basketball standards available for all members to use.

 

Playground EquipmentPlayground Equipment

A play apparatus that includes slides, swings, climbers and a sandbox is available for the use of the public at Midtown Community Club. Supervision is recommended for all children.

Be sure to check out the City's Playground Program that takes place in June, July and August.

 

Spray ParkSpray Park
The spray park provides a safe and fun way for kids to cool down in the summer months. Children must be supervised by an adult. Please see the spray parks and paddling pools page for a complete list. 

Programs

Summer Playground Program and Splash Pad

The City of Prince Albert operates a free Playground Program from July 2nd to August 17, 2013 Monday to Friday. Playleaders provide supervision and fun activities for children including water games, crafts and special events.

  • Monday to Thursday - 12:00 noon to 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday - 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

The Midtown Community Club extends the fun at their playground on the weekends with a playleader working Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. throughout the summer.

  • Saturday and Sundays: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
