As part of its ongoing commitment to fairness and equity in property taxation, the City's Property Assessment Division has implemented a program to re-inspect all homes in the City of Prince Albert.

This confirmation of property details will ensure that everyone is paying their fair share of the property taxes required to run the city. The inspection of properties by Assessment Appraisers s a requirement specified in the regulations under the Assessment Management Agency Act.

Appraisers from the City Property Assessment Division commenced residential property inspections in 2016 and the process is ongoing. Each assessor has photo identification to show that they are the individuals authorized by the city under provincial legislation to conduct the inspections. We would ask for the cooperation of residents in helping us complete this legislatively required inspection process.
