All levels of government and funding organizations are looking for ways to help Canadians "go green" and help the environment with "greencentives." The following links provide information on the incentives currently available.
Environment Canada
Environment Canada offers a list of grants, rebates, discounts and other incentives available to help you use less energy, switch to renewable energy and produce less waste at home and on the road.
Public Transit Passes - Tax Credit
The Transit Pass Tax Credit allows individuals to claim the cost of monthly passes on one's federal income tax return. The Canada Revenue Agency website provides additional information as well as information pertaining to the specific line number on a federal income tax return.
Refrigerator Recycling
SaskPower is offering this incentive to residents within the city limits of Prince Albert, Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current and Weyburn. This three-month pilot takes place between June 1 and August 31, 2010.

The Government of Saskatchewan offers a number of programs to assist homeowners and residential users Go Green in their day-to-day lives.
SaskEnergy Programs
SaskEnergy offers a number of programs for energy-efficient upgrades, energy efficient new homes and energy efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings.
SGI's Green Rebate Program
Owners of eligible vehicles will receive a 20% rebate on basic insurance premiums and registration fees paid for the 2009 calendar year.
