Prince Albert's Airport is located six kilometres east of the City. The Airport's elevation is 428 metres. Nav Canada operates a Flight Service Station which is operated 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We provide high intensity edge lighting, a 1525 metre long paved asphalt runway as our main runway, and a 686 metre turf runway as our secondary runway.


Airport Master Plan

The Master Plan provides guidance for airport development. The Plan's objective is to ensure that adequate infrastructure and services are available to support current and future commercial air services and private aviation activities at the Airport and within the community.

Passenger Facility Fee (PFF)
Effective July 15, 2010, passengers flying through the Prince Albert Municipal Airport will be required to pay a Passenger Facility Fee in order for the airport to more towards becoming "self-funding." This fee will initially assist the City in raising funds towards a new air terminal building.
