Municipal Heritage Sites

The City recognizes the importance of commemorating and protecting significant heritage and historical buildings and sites. Over the years, buildings have been designated as heritage properties through the adoption of bylaws in accordance with the Heritage Property Act.

    Each year, the City of Prince Albert, through its Prince Albert Municipal Heritage Award Selection Subcommittee, recognizes heritage work in Prince Albert through the presentation of an award. The Municipal Heritage Award recognizes excellence in project or buildings that provide outstanding heritage value to the City of Prince Albert.
