The City of Prince Albert would like to advise residents and businesses that over the next several weeks, Corix, the company hired to install new water meters on behalf of the City of Prince Albert, will rebrand and transform to ICONIX Waterworks. The rebrand will not impact the operations of the company or the project, but the City would like residents to be aware of the change when they go to make appointments for their water meter replacements.

Unprecedented frost depths this year are causing a number of issues relating to the City’s underground water collection and distribution system. Lengthy periods of extreme cold temperatures this winter have made typical conditions worse.
The City would like to advise that the Marquis Road water crane will be temporarily out of service to accommodate pumphouse upgrades currently in progress.

The City of Prince Albert completed the Unidirectional Hydraulic Flushing Program for Zone 1 on Wednesday, August 1, 2018. The work which began July 16th involved the flushing of watermains to ensure the long term maintenance and longevity of the City’s water system.
