City crews will be starting street sweeping operations on Monday, April 29th with crews starting on high traffic arterial streets. Street sweeping operations follow the same priority schedule as snow clearing with arterial streets first, collectors and bus routes second, downtown third and residential fourth. Street sweeping crews have been out already in targeted areas in the last two weeks where conditions allowed for it.
Full operations to get underway in the next few weeks
The City’s snow plowing crews will be moving into residential areas starting today, Wednesday, January 15, 2019 with the Westview neighbourhood up first.
The City of Prince Albert would like to advise that the Snow Route Parking Ban declared at 9:00am yesterday morning has been lifted . Over the course of the next several days, City crews will be focusing on priority two streets (school zones, bus routes, central avenue downtown, etc). Given the strong gusting winds being experienced, some backtracking on priority one streets may be required.
