Based upon recent cooler weather and precipitation received, fire risk has diminished and the fire ban has been lifted for Little Red River Park and all properties north of the N. Sask River (within the City of Prince Albert).
The public is asked to continue to exercise discretion, caution and due diligence when enjoying recreational / cooking fires within the Park and the City of Prince Albert, as fires can develop and spread rapidly resulting in significant risk to safety, property and the environment. Use fires responsible to ensure the amenities we enjoy today remain for tomorrow.
As a result, no fire bans currently exist within the City of Prince Albert. Any recreational fires within the City of Prince Albert are governed by the provisions set forth in Bylaw 22 of 2008. Fires occurring outside the provisions of this Bylaw are prohibited and will be extinguished if reported.
