EA Rawlinson Centre Finalist for

SCMA Venue of the Year


Prince Albert, Sk. – The EA Rawlinson Centre for the Arts has been announced as a Finalist for the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards (SCMA) Venue of the Year for 2018.The Award will be handed out as part of the SCMA’s 30th Annual Awards Weekend & Country Music Festival in Saskatoon, April 12th to 14th.

     The EA Rawlinson Centre hosted the SCMA Awards in March, 2018 and many local and regional country artists. In addition, they presented well attended concerts of Brett Kissel, Kip Moore, Aaron Goodvin, Taw Connors, Nice Horse, Gord Bamford and the Washboard Union in 2018. Coming up in 2019 the EA Rawlinson Centre hosts Corb Lund, George Canyon, Doc Walker and Charlie Major.

        Prince Albert also has other finalists for SCMA Awards: LJ Tyson (Male Artist of the Year and Video of the Year), Larry Krause (Roots Artist/Group of the Year) and 900 CKBI (Radio Station of the Year-Major Market).
