Expression of Interest sought to operate
Parkland Community Club
Prince Albert, Sk. – The City of Prince Albert is inviting clubs, organizations and associations to complete an “Expression of Interest” to manage the Parkland Community Club facility, 1510-9th Avenue West. The City has been operating the facility since August of 2017 and is inviting applications for a group to become the main tenant and operator of the building for purposes of delivering social, cultural, recreational and educational programing to the local community and the community at large. The successful proponent will enter into a Lease and Operating Agreement with the City of Prince Albert similar to that of the other 9 Community Clubs in the City.
The Parkland Community Club includes a building with a hall/gymnasium, kitchen, multi-purpose room, skate warm-up room, daycare and storage space. The exterior of the facility has an outdoor rink, playground, spray park and basketball court.
Expression of Interest packages are now available at www.citypa.ca under the Tenders section. The closing date for the EOI is Wednesday, October 31st, 2018 at 2:30 PM. Pending City Council approval and successful negotiation of a Lease and Operating Agreement, the transfer of operation would occur by January 1st, 2019.
